Central Library Dweck Center
10 Grand Army Plaza
Brooklyn, NY 11238
Friday, June 7 | 8:30 am

The gender pay gap has lifelong financial effects that grow over time, from the ability to pay for education and childcare to saving for retirement, impacting women in nearly every professional endeavor. Whether working for a company or for yourself, learning to confidently negotiate your salary or fee structure will help ensure you earn the pay and benefits you deserve to improve your financial future. The Library’s Business & Career Center has partnered with the American Association of University Women (AAUW) to present this seminar that will empower you to successfully negotiate for fair pay for the rest of your career. You will come away knowing how to determine your market worth based on skills, experience, performance, qualifications, and responsibilities on the job. Never again will you leave your worth on the table!

This First Friday event is part of a series of women-focused programming. Continental breakfast will be served.
