New York, NY 10020
Wednesday, June 12 | 10:00 am

Join NYCJW co-founder Bella Neyman for an intriguing and historical jewelry journey in her class Designing Women: Female Jewelers Then and Now at Christie’s.

Following the lecture, the class will visit the studio of New York City-based artist and master goldsmith Donna Distefano, a former senior craftsman at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Donna now creates jewelry for celebrities like Sheryl Crow while still designing jewelry based on reproductions in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, most recently creating a high-jewelry collection inspired by the pieces in the exhibition Jewelry: The Body Transformed.
